Shipping policy for Voltforge Shop explains how delivery charges, courier restrictions, battery shipments, restricted postcode areas and manual-review consignments are handled for UK orders.
Voltforge ships across the UK using a mixture of direct fulfilment, supplier dispatch and courier services, depending on the product involved. Shipping charges, delivery methods and delivery times may vary by product type, destination and carrier restrictions.
We aim to keep shipping clear, fair and proportionate to the product being ordered. Some items are small parcel goods, some are heavier electrical products, and some battery products are subject to additional handling or dangerous-goods restrictions. Because of that, not all items can sensibly be shipped in the same way or at the same cost.
Some products may also be shipped directly from supplier stock rather than from Voltforge premises. Where this happens, shipping behaviour may reflect the supplier’s dispatch method, carrier network and any location restrictions that apply to that product class.
For standard Mainland UK addresses, shipping is charged according to product type and shipping class. Rates are shown at checkout where available.
Smaller parts, accessories and many power-electronic products can usually be shipped on normal courier or parcel services. Heavier products, battery products and specialist goods may require a different carrier, different service level or a higher shipping charge.
We want to be completely clear about this: Voltforge does not control the postcode rules, area surcharges or delivery exclusions imposed by couriers and fulfilment networks. We also want to make it equally clear that we do not agree with the uneven way some parts of the UK are routinely treated.
Where courier or fulfilment networks impose restrictions, surcharges or longer transit times on certain destinations, those rules are being imposed on us rather than invented by Voltforge. If your order requires manual review due to destination, product type or weight, we will call you from 01670 336766 before dispatch and confirm everything by email as well.
Where an additional delivery charge is required for a restricted postcode area, it will be quoted at cost to us. We are not adding a margin to postcode-based courier penalties. If you have any questions before ordering, please get in touch and we will confirm the position in advance. It is important that you leave both a phone number and an email address with your order so that we can contact you properly if manual review is needed.
When you place an order with Voltforge, you are trusting us with personal information and, in many cases, with what may be a significant purchase. We take that seriously. We do not believe in information brokerage, data trading or any of the other nonsense that treats customer details as a product in their own right. It is morally and ethically wrong, and it does not sit with the values of Voltforge or Zeromachine.
If we contact you, it will be because we need to deal with your order properly. That may mean confirming a delivery issue, checking a restricted-postcode shipment, or making sure a more awkward consignment is handled correctly. We may also occasionally follow up on a more involved order to make sure everything arrived safely and is as expected. That is customer service, not a sales tactic.
We are not going to cold call you later, and we are not going to sell your information on.
Some destinations are treated by courier and fulfilment networks as restricted-service areas for certain product types, particularly batteries, dangerous-goods consignments and heavier electrical equipment. Voltforge does not set these postcode rules and we do not agree with the uneven way some parts of the UK are treated, but where these restrictions apply they are imposed on us by the delivery network rather than created by Voltforge.
The postcode areas most likely to require review or restricted handling include:
These restrictions are most relevant to batteries and other specialist consignments. Smaller parcel items and some power-electronic products may still be deliverable to these areas, but manual review may still be required depending on the carrier and product combination.
Some battery products, especially lithium batteries and other dangerous-goods consignments, may be subject to additional courier controls, location restrictions, audit delays or specialist delivery arrangements. In some cases, mixed orders may arrive in separate consignments if different parts of the order must travel by different carrier methods.
If a battery product cannot be shipped to your location using the standard checkout service, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm the available options.
Estimated delivery times shown at checkout or on product pages are indicative only. We will always aim to dispatch and fulfil orders promptly, but delivery times may vary depending on stock location, carrier performance, product type and destination.
Where a product requires specialist handling, supplier dispatch or a restricted-area review, delivery may take longer than a standard parcel shipment.
If your order contains a mixture of product types, it may be shipped in more than one consignment. This is especially common where one part of the order is a standard parcel item and another is a battery or specialist shipment.
Please make sure the shipping address is correct and that the delivery can be accepted safely. Some carriers may apply additional charges for failed delivery attempts, re-routing, re-delivery or returned consignments, particularly for heavier or specialist shipments. Where such charges are passed to us, we reserve the right to pass them on.
If you are ordering from a restricted postcode area, or if your order includes batteries, heavy power equipment or mixed consignments and you want to confirm shipping before placing the order, please get in touch first. We would rather answer the question up front than let the checkout pretend everything is simple when it plainly is not.
